Travertine is a very unique and versatile stone used primarily for flooring and other visual surfaces. Travertine, considered a sedimentary rock, consists of mostly calcite. The most notable characteristics of these stones are the holes formed by trapped water during years of compression. These holes can be filled with a stone sediment and acrylic mix to appease whatever style you like.
